Uniform Civil War

Welcome to Uniform Civil War.  The United States Civil War was one of the bloodiest wars in our history.  Its legacy lives on to this day.  The reinactments of the battles of the Civil War are a popular way to remember this period.  The biggest decision for a reinactor is to decide which side to chose:  The Union or the Confederacy.  Once they've made their choice, they will need the uniform.  There are plenty of uniforms on the market today.  There are also lots of weaponry and accessories to complete the look and feel of being a soldier in that era.  We will find the best places to purchase theses goods as well as find out about some of the reinactments themselves.  If you have some good places to get uniforms, please let us know through the comments.
